A service request came from the head of Tres Dias women’s weekend #37 the other day – Margie. (Hooray, Lesa and I will be serving on that team in November here in Dallas. Now we’re praying for Nicky to get the nod also). Margie’s brother is serving his 3rd deployment in Iraq. Now that deserves a huge THANK YOU!
A request was sounded that if you knew of or were part of an organization that does service projects, or, if your family or church group wanted to participate on any level, they were looking for things to be sent to Iraq for her brother’s team to hand out to the local children.
WOW – it was really exciting to me that this would come across an email. I couldn’t contain my excitement and had to send to her right away the Trinity’s Angels blog address so she could see what a great fit this would be. Also including a note to read the June 6th blog that dealt specifically with the “military” aspect that had touched my heart. We now have his address and so he’ll be receiving boxes from Trinity’s Angels. Hooray, hooray.
Coincidence – NO
A GOD thing – absolutely
And it continues to be a marvel watching how the tapestry of HIS plan is woven through our lives. How people are brought into this ministry. How GOD’s thread is being woven through Trinity’s Angels. What a gorgeous tapestry is being woven right now for all to see.
