There is nothing better than getting up early to cook for kids. There is nothing better than seeing them lined up upon our arrival, waiting for something to eat with smiles on their faces. It doesn’t matter what it is – they are happy, excited and grateful to get something to fill their stomachs. They swarm like flies to get whatever it is we have brought – if there are seconds – then those are gone just as quickly!

One Sunday we decided to make fried salchicha sandwiches for lunch. Salchicha is their version of a hot dog. Loose version! Anyway – it was a success and all the sandwiches were gone within minutes.
